All Epworth Forest lakeside properties (excluding the church camp) have an easement that runs along the shoreline. The easement (both with and without sidewalk) is open to residents of Epworth Forest, their guests, the church Conference and its guests, and attendees. It is for the exclusive purposes of fishing, promenading, and private pier access. Access to the easement is allowed only by means of the fire lanes. All other property is private. No vehicles are allowed on the easement with the exception of wheelchair accessibility vehicles. By court order, EFAC, not the property owners association, is responsible for enforcement of all easement matters.
